Insulate the spa cover, isolate the spa from the pool with valves during heating, and consider a dedicated heater if you use the spa often.
For spa-only heating on a shared heater, a spa-side control or automation can auto-close pool valves.
A properly plumbed spa should reach spa temperature relatively quickly on a well-sized heater.
