5 Common Reasons Your Naples Pool Water Is Cloudy
Published 2025-02-15
Cloudy water is a symptom, not a problem — the cause could be chemistry, filtration, or bather load.
Common causes: high pH driving calcium out of solution, low free chlorine, a dirty or undersized filter, poor circulation, and storm runoff bringing organics into the pool.
Test the water, correct pH first, verify chlorine, and run the filter continuously. If cloudiness doesn't clear in 48 hours, consider professional help before it becomes an algae bloom.
